...I tell you the truth, a time is approaching when you will weep and wail, but the world will celebrate. You will be overcome with sorrow, but your sorrow will turn into joy. When a woman is giving birth she is in anguish, because her moment has come. But when the child is born, she doesn't remember the suffering, because of the joy that a human being has been born into the world. IN THE SAME WAY, you have sorrow now. But I shall see you again, and your hearts will celebrate, and on that day your labored grief will turn into a joy that cannot be stolen, and nobody will take your celebration away from you." - Jn 16:16, 20-22
In the beginning, God created the heavens & the earth and on that seventh day (that Sabbath day) He rested.
Likewise, God is doing a new thing - new creation is on the verge of springing to life, leaving death & sin in it's wake.
This quiet Sabbath "rest" filled with so much chaos & pain is preparing to birth new life! :)
