Therefore, Loved Ones, pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with all those who call on the LORD from a pure heart. (2 Ti. 2:22)
…For though, in these last days, people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power (2 Tim. 3:2-4)…opposing the truth, corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith…evil people and impostors who go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Ti. 3:13)…And though, at this time, people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, turning away from listening to the truth, wandering off into myths. (2 Ti. 4:3-4)
…Even so, God has made known to US the answer to all the world’s searching; the Hope for all the world. So we must faithfully, preach the word, with patience and teaching (2 Ti. 4:2, 3) be kind to everyone and correct with gentleness, in order that God may grant repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, that many may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” (2 Ti. 2:24-26)
God has bestowed us with a great task, indeed! Yet, He has also given us the power to fulfill this awesome calling…the precious gift of His Spirit (2 Ti. 1:7). Praying He continually fills you, guides you, and directs you as we live out this new life in Jesus together!
Friends, you matter! And what you do matters! Remember, we can, indeed, trust in God’s plans for we can trust the God behind the plan!
